Dr Matt Gribbon qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Manchester in 2019. Following graduation, he completed his foundation training in North Wales before working as a general dental practitioner with mydentist in Abergele. He then expanded his clinical experience by undertaking core training posts within the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments at both the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Cumberland Infirmary, developing advanced skills in managing complex dental and surgical cases. Matt returned to mydentist in 2022, joining the team at Victoria Place in Carlisle on a part-time basis while continuing to work as a locum in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery when opportunities arise. Committed to furthering his knowledge and providing the highest standard of care, he is currently working towards a Master's degree in Dental Implantology at the Implant Centre of Excellence in Manchester's Salford Quays. He is also undertaking the Master's programme in Clinical Periodontology at the University of Central Lancashire. Known for his calm, reassuring manner and dedication to patient care, Matt takes the time to ensure patients feel comfortable, informed and confident throughout their treatment journey.
