Kandarp Nathwani qualified with a BDS in 2008 and went on to gain experience across a number of dental specialty departments, further developing his clinical skills and knowledge. Following a year of vocational training in Kent, he moved to Yorkshire for his first role as a dentist and quickly developed a strong connection with the area, choosing to make it his home. Kandarp particularly enjoys the surgical and restorative aspects of dentistry, which led him to undertake further training in dental implantology. He completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry with the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD) in Leeds and has continued to enhance his expertise through additional training in implant dentistry. He also provides a range of cosmetic treatments, including composite bonding, cosmetic crowns and bridges. Outside of dentistry, Kandarp enjoys walking and cooking with his wife and friends. He is also a keen cricketer and plays as part of an all-dentist team that travels across the UK and internationally to take part in friendly matches.
