Dr Scott Phillips grew up in Gibraltar before moving to Newcastle in 2008 to begin dental school. After graduating in 2013, he worked in a variety of practices across County Durham, gaining valuable experience while continuing his education in advanced dental care. In 2017, he founded his own practice, further developing his skills and expertise. Scott has an interest in restoring smiles through dental implants and sedation. This combination allows him to help patients receive the treatment they need in a comfortable and supportive environment. His commitment to postgraduate education has led to him becoming a Full Member of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Alongside his clinical work, Scott is passionate about supporting the development of other dental professionals. He is approved by the Royal College of Surgeons of England to mentor in Conscious Sedation Techniques and by the Association of Dental Implantology to mentor in all aspects of Implant Dentistry. Scott joined the team at mydentist in 2026 and primarily provides implant dentistry, helping patients access treatment with confidence and reassurance.
