Ahlam Shoukath graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India in 2019 before moving to the United Kingdom to complete a Master's degree in Forensic Dentistry at the University of Dundee in 2021. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Ahlam understands that visiting the dentist can be a daunting experience for some patients and aims to create a calm and supportive atmosphere where patients feel listened to and cared for. She has a particular interest in minimally invasive and aesthetic dentistry, with a focus on clear aligner therapy and composite bonding. Committed to continuing professional development, she regularly updates her knowledge and skills to ensure she can offer patients modern and effective treatment options. Ahlam takes pride in providing care tailored to each individual's needs, helping patients make informed decisions about their oral health and treatment. Her friendly and approachable manner helps patients feel at ease throughout their dental journey. Outside of the practice, Ahlam enjoys playing pickleball and spending time reading.

Marco was born in Portugal in 1967, qualified as a dentist in 1990, in Bulgaria. After qualifying he moved to Greece where he worked as a private dentist for 2 years. In 1992 he moved back to Portugal and worked as a private dentist in Cascias, near Lisbon until 2011. In 2011 he received an offer to come to Scotland to work as a dentist committed to the NHS and he accepted this new life challenge with pleasure. Marco has a large amount of experience of helping patients of all ages since qualification. He cares for patients at {my}dentist, Pennywell full time. Marco is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and is very happy to provide care for patients who have this as their first language. Outside work, Marco is very family oriented, loves to spend all his free time spending quality time with family and loves to cook, trying new recipes from around the world.

I have over 10 Years of Experience as GDP and I am currently working in 2 different Practices with [my}Dentist.My current practice includes general dentistry with special interest in dento alveolar surgery and also undertake elderly patients with complex dentures and believe in minimalistic preventative approach for child patients.Before I joined General Practice in 2010, I was fortunate enough to have received advanced training in various Specialist Hospitals.I qualified and completed my BDS from beautiful part of South of India in 1996-97. I did my Overseas Registration exams and have worked as Senior House Officer in Various Hospitals in Aberdeen, Carlisle, Bradford, Birmingham, Dundee, Glasgow Yorkhill Hospital. I was actively involved in Research in Leeds Teaching Hospital. I regularly take part in all my CPD and Audit activities.My personal interest is, maintaining a healthy work and personal life balance, this is really important to me. I enjoy meeting people and often organize events with friends and family. I do Yoga and meditation. My Other interests include singing classical music, painting, reading and traveling.
