Dr Alys Walsh graduated from the University of Leeds in 2019, earning qualifications in Dental Surgery (MChD/BChD) and Oral Science (BSc). She also holds a First-Class BSc degree in Biomaterial Science, awarded in 2014. Alys is interested in minimally invasive smile makeovers and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She offers a range of modern cosmetic and restorative treatments, including Invisalign® clear aligners to straighten teeth, Enlighten teeth whitening to brighten smiles, and SmileFast, ceramic crowns and veneers to enhance the shape and appearance of teeth. Dedicated to delivering the highest standards of patient care, Alys regularly attends postgraduate courses and continuing professional development programmes to expand her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest advances in modern dentistry. Known for her warm, friendly and supportive manner, Alys takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns and understand their goals. She works closely with each individual to create tailored treatment plans, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable and confident throughout their dental journey. Dr Hugo Ferreira graduated in Portugal in 2008 and joined {my}dentist Port Talbot in 2009 – he is one of the longest standing clinician in the area. Dr Ferreira has a superb relationship with his patients and all the staff at the practice, he always listens to his patients' and aims to provide the highest standards of treatment possible in a relaxed and friendly manner. Hugo has a special interest in Orthodontics and been providing Orthodontic Treatment to a mixture of children and adults in Wales since 2014 with wonderful orthodontic results. Hugo has a PG certificate 2014 and a PG diploma 2018 in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick which he graduated with merits. Hugo can provide Invisalign (comprehensive), Damon (self-ligating), Clear Correct, Six Months Smiles and Conventional Braces. Dr Ferreira also has a certificate in Restorative Dentistry from Kings College in London and can provide smile makeovers to a very high standard, providing patients with the smile they've always aimed for.

Dr Mariusz Daniel Zawada DDS,MSc,OMFS (Manchester) Mariusz graduated from the Pomeranian Medical University in 2002 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery and has studied implant dentistry across the UK, Europe and Australia and earned his Master of Science degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Manchester with distinction. Providing the most advanced dental care in a comfortable atmosphere is the priority of Mariusz. Along with cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics, implantology is one of his main professional interests with over 15 years experience. Mariusz regularly attends courses at a national and international level, which enable him to apply to the latest technologies and techniques.
Mariusz takes pride in creating a comfortable environment where patients can make informed choices at their own pace. Mariusz is married with a young son and daughter. When not delivering great dentistry or spending the time with family he enjoys stargazing, riding his bike, snowboarding, paragliding and his passion for bee keeping.

He joined {my}dentist in 2011 and has since gained extensive experience in both NHS and private dental care.In 2012, Radu expanded his expertise by obtaining a Certificate in Oral Implantology from Salford University. Committed to lifelong learning, he actively participates in international theoretical and hands-on courses, specializing in Implantology, Periodontology, and Oral Surgery. His dedication to periodontal health led him to complete a three-year postgraduate program, earning a master’s degree in Periodontology from the University of Central Lancashire in 2020. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Science Periodontology degree in Preston in 2020 and completed a Master of Science degree from Bologna in 2024 and is yet to set furthering his professional development at GIDE in 2025. With a strong passion for Implantology, Periodontology, and full-mouth reconstructions, Radu also has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry. He has attended numerous courses in facial aesthetics and is eager to continue honing his skills in this field.Outside of dentistry, Radu enjoys staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle while cherishing time with family and friends.

Sam studied at the University of Cardiff, and trained within the Dental School at the University Hospital of Wales, graduating as adental hygienist in 2019.Sam has regular sessions at the Practice to enhance patients awareness of their own oral hygiene, as well as undertaking preventative treatment to care for his patients oral hygiene. Sam enjoys building a rapport with his patients and takes pride in trying to break the fear of seeing a dental hygienist through reassurance and support.In his spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends. Being Welsh, Sam is an avid rugby fan, and has recently started playing back for his local club. Sam has also enjoys indoor rock climbing.
